Welcome to Lone Pine Classical School!
We have been offering Latin classes for homeschoolers since 2003, online since 2007. Our students have more "live" class time per week than any other online Latin course, typically do very well on the National Latin Exam (included in the tuition), and are able to attend a Latin Convention each April if they wish!
2009/2010 Course Schedule
Latin 100 (Grades 8-12): Tuesday and Thursday, 8:20 - 9:35 a.m. Mountain Time
(7:20 Pacific, 9:20 Central, 10:20 Eastern).
Latin 200 (prereq. Latin 100 or instructor permission): Monday and Wednesday, 8:20 - 9:35 a.m. Mountain Time
(7:20 Pacific, 9:20 Central, 10:20 Eastern).
Latin 300/400 Prose (prereq. Latin 200 or instructor permission): Tuesday and Thursday, 7:00 - 8:15 a.m. Mountain Time
(7:00 Pacific, 8:00 Central, 9:00 Eastern).
Stellae (Grades 3-7; ages 8-12) is not being offered in 2009-2010, but will be offered again in future years.
Master Schedule - Courses Offered:
2009-2010: Latin 100, Latin 200, Latin 300/400(Prose).
2010-2011: Stellae, Latin 100, Latin 200, Latin 300/400(Poetry).
2011-2012: Stellae, Latin 100, Latin 200, Latin 300/400(Prose).

Latin 100-400: TWO online classes per week, PLUS an optional online help session. That's 3 sessions (3 1/2 hours) per week of LIVE instruction!
Latin 100-400: National Latin Exam & more nationally-recognized resume builders (National Latin Honor Society, Junior Classical League, etc.) INCLUDED in tuition! You can attend Convention with us each April!
Latin 100-400: TWO-WEEK TRIAL offered - Attend class for the first two weeks for just the cost of materials ($25)! Stellae: ONE-WEEK TRIAL offered - Attend the first week of class free!
Low Tuition: For 2009-2010, Latin 100-400 tuition is only $225/semester ($450/year). STELLAE tuition is only $50 per 10-week session.
Pay by the semester! Other payment plans available - Latin 100-400 are just $50/month!

We treat Latin like a LANGUAGE - we learn to think like a Roman and work toward fluency - while maintaining very high curriculum standards and receiving solid preparation to read classical authors.
